09/13/2009 - 12:00pm On Sunday, September 13, 2009 the Massachusetts AFL-CIO will be sponsoring the 11th annual walk to cure cancer. The walk will be kicking off from the campus of the University of Massachusetts Medical School in Worcester. Registration is from 10:00 am until noon with the walk immediately following. 09/11/2008 - 6:15am 09/11/2008 - 7:00am On Thursday September 11, various building trade affiliates are going to meet outside the gates of Bow Power Plant, in Bow, New Hampshire to hand out leaflets supporting our pro-union candidates, Barack Obama and Jeanne Shaheen. Please join us at 6:15 a.m., the leafleting corresponds with the Shutdown of the plant. Therefore, there will be a large number of our members working on the project. The leafleting will be from 6:15 a.m. to 7:00 a.m. |
