We care about workers’ pay, freedom, and families throughout New England – and we know when they’re under attack. In New Hampshire, lawmakers are being influenced by corporations advocating for so-called “Right to Work” laws.

In fact, “Right to Work” isn’t just bad for union members – it’s bad for all workers. In states where “Right to Work” laws have already been enacted, median wages are about $10,000 lower. Additionally, there is no evidence that “Right to Work” provides more jobs or boosts the economy.

These laws will inhibit Granite Staters’ right to bargain with their employers to secure livable wages and benefits. As we see the light emerge out of the dark tunnel of the COVID-19 pandemic, workers need steady and reliable jobs and stable wages so to ensure their families can get back on their feet. Enacting “Right to Work” legislation in New Hampshire will prevent that.

New Hampshire has a chance to start fixing things. Let’s support our Brothers and Sisters by spreading the word and telling NH legislators to vote NO on “Right to Work.”
